The board of HermÍs is composed of individuals who are leaders in developing skills and simulation education in Iceland. The board typically meets monthly, and the director of HermÍs is appointed for a two-year term.
HermÍs has three part-time project managers, each originating from the main operating units of the organization: the Department of Education at Landspítali, the Department of Nursing and Midwifery, and the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Iceland. The director and the project managers collaborate closely, holding weekly status meetings and regular work meetings.
